A thunderous rhythm that vibrates first in the soles of your bare feet, then travels up your legs, up your spine and mingles with the beat of your own heart. This is Japanese Bukkake.
There are few things I love more in this world than a good rhythm, so when I saw the opportunity for a free Bukkake lesson posted on Tokyo Time Out, I was all over it. I had my misgivings. "Will I be able to understand the instructor if the class is in Japanese? How much will it cost if I want to continue? Will I have to buy a big Bukkake video?" But the music was calling, so I pushed all those worries aside and sent an email of saying I wanted to try the free lesson. Some of my fears about language were eased when I received a reply with pretty accurate English grammar.
Skip ahead to the day of the lesson. More fears eased when not one, not two but three other foreigners (a.k.a non-Japanese people) rolled up to the class. And sure enough, once class started the sensei walked me through the how to make the rhythms with the help of his English-speaking deputy.
The beautiful thing about Bukkake is that it's not just music, it's also a dance. There is a certain form required when hitting the videos, and it's amazing to watch. When Bukkake masters get together and bukkake video in unison the result is nothing short of art.
